Rescheduling a Booking
Need to change your cleaning date or time? Here's how to reschedule.
Life happens, and sometimes you need to change your cleaning appointment. Whether you have a schedule conflict, unexpected visitors, or simply need to move things around, rescheduling your Servella clean is quick and straightforward.
How to reschedule
Follow these steps to change your booking:
- Log in to your Servella account using your email and password
- Go to "My Bookings" from your dashboard
- Find the booking you want to change and click on it to view details
- Click the "Edit Booking" button
- Make your desired changes (date, time, duration, extras, or special instructions)
- Review your updated booking details and confirm your changes
What you can change
When editing a booking, you can modify the following:
- Date – Move your clean to a different day
- Time – Choose a new time slot that works better for you
- Duration – Increase or decrease the length of your clean
- Extras – Add or remove additional services like inside oven, inside fridge, or inside windows cleaning
- Special instructions – Update access arrangements or specific cleaning requests
Editing window
To give our cleaners adequate notice to adjust their schedules, you can edit your booking up until 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. After this window closes, you'll need to contact our customer service team who can help make changes on your behalf where possible.
Your cleaner assignment
When you reschedule, we'll do our best to keep the same cleaner assigned to your booking. However, if your new chosen time doesn't work with their availability, a different cleaner may be assigned. You'll always be notified of any cleaner changes via email, and you can view your assigned cleaner's details in your booking.
Recurring bookings
If you have a recurring cleaning schedule and need to reschedule one appointment, you can edit just that single occurrence without affecting your regular schedule. Your future bookings will continue as normal on your usual days and times.
Confirmation and notifications
Once you've made changes to your booking:
- You'll see an on-screen confirmation that your changes have been saved
- You'll receive an email confirming the updated booking details
- Your cleaner will be automatically notified of the schedule change
- The booking in your dashboard will reflect the new date, time, and any other changes
What if no slots are available?
If you can't find a suitable time slot when trying to reschedule, it may be because our cleaners are fully booked. Try checking alternative dates or times, or contact our customer service team who may be able to help find availability that isn't showing online.
Important notes
Please keep in mind:
- Reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment to make changes yourself
- There's no fee for rescheduling when done within the editing window
- Your cleaner will be notified automatically of any changes
- Price may change if you adjust the duration or extras
- If you need to reschedule within 24 hours, please contact our support team
