Quick fixes to try first
Before diving into more detailed troubleshooting, try these quick fixes that resolve most app issues:
- Force close the app completely (don't just minimise it) and reopen it
- Check your internet connection – try loading a website to confirm you're online
- Turn your phone's Wi-Fi off and on again
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the connection is the issue
- Restart your phone – this clears temporary memory and often fixes glitches
App won't open or crashes immediately
If the app won't open at all or crashes as soon as you launch it:
- Make sure your phone has enough storage space – apps need room to run
- Check if your phone's operating system is up to date
- Delete and reinstall the app from the App Store or Google Play

- Go to your phone's Settings
- Tap "Apps" or "Applications"
- Find and tap "Servella"
- Tap "Storage"
- Tap "Clear Cache"
- If issues persist, you can also tap "Clear Data" (you'll need to log in again)
- Reopen the app and log in
Clear app cache (iPhone)
On iPhone, you'll need to delete and reinstall the app to clear its cache:
- Press and hold the Servella app icon
- Tap "Remove App" then "Delete App"
- Go to the App Store and reinstall Servella
- Log in with your email and password
- Your account and bookings will still be there
Check your phone's compatibility
The Servella app requires a minimum operating system version to work properly:
- iPhone: iOS 13.0 or later
- Android: Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later
- Check your phone's software version in Settings > About Phone
- If your phone doesn't meet these requirements, you can still use the website at servella.co.uk
Booking or payment issues in the app
